A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K/10K
Participants run or walk a flat, out-and-back course through the park in 5K, 10K, or Snoopy Kids Dash events. Finishers receive an officially licensed Peanuts finisher medal, participant bib, and performance t-shirt. Who can take part in the 5K and 10K?
All ages. Strollers and walkers are welcome too. They start at the back of their corral and keep to the right. Everyone has to finish within 120 minutes.
Is there a race for kids?
Yes. The Snoopy Kids Dash is an untimed fun run/walk for children 12 and under. One parent or guardian may walk the route with their child but doesn't have to, and strollers start at the back. The distance is set by the average age of the kids who register.
What do participants get?
Every 5K/10K runner gets a timed Peanuts bib, a performance-blend t-shirt and a 4-inch die-cast Peanuts Retro TV Spinner finisher medal. Kids Dash runners get an untimed bib, a t-shirt and a finisher medal.
Where do I pick up my packet?
At Road Runner Sports in Studio City (12113 Ventura Blvd) on the Friday before the race. Each person can pick up four packets at most. Race-morning pickup is only for runners who added the convenience option at registration, and it closes when the 5K starts.
Is there food and water on the course and after the race?
There's one water station on the route, which 10K runners pass twice, plus water at the finish. Afterwards, the post-race hospitality area near the start/finish line has refreshments and local vendor tents.
