Know Before You Go
- Hours: 1:00 pm.
- Parking: Free parking is permitted in two Downtown Abacoa garages and a garage by the Marriott hotel; parking is also available on Main St. or University Blvd. Additional parking is on the southbound lane of Central Blvd and west of Promenade Way. Do not park in resident parking spaces. Handicap parking is marked on Main St. and University Blvd.
- Accessibility: Handicap parking is clearly marked and available on Main Street and University Boulevard.

- Get to the route early, because the parade route starts closing to all traffic shortly before the parade steps off.
- Stay out of resident parking spaces around Abacoa, because cars parked there get towed at the owner's expense.

Where can I park for the parade?
You can park free in the two Downtown Abacoa garages and in the Abacoa garage by the Marriott. There's also parking on Main St. and University Blvd. Don't use resident parking spaces, because you'll be towed at your own expense.
Is there any extra parking?
Yes. You can use the southbound lane of Central Blvd and the area west of Promenade Way. Coming from Military Trail or Donald Ross Rd., you can also park on either side of Central Blvd South. You can also park on both sides of Frederick Small Rd between the Skate Park and the traffic circle.
Where is the judging stand?
It's at the end of the route on the north (right) side of Frederick Small Rd, just before the entrance to Abacoa Community Park.
Can anyone enter the parade?
Yes. Any person, group, organization or business in the community can enter. The Parade Committee can turn down entries that are unsuitable or that compete directly with the sponsor. Because JTAA is a 501c3, the parade has to stay apolitical.
Who puts on the parade?
The Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (JTAA) sponsors it. A committee of volunteers runs it and plans all year long.
