Tips & Advice
- Register by 12/12/26 if you want the finisher's medal that doubles as a Christmas ornament, because later registrants aren't guaranteed one.

- Get there early to grab the free parking directly across from Fiddlin' Fish Brewing, which is first come, first served.
- Bring a leash and cleanup bags if your dog is joining you, and add the dog bib and treat when you register.
- Walkers on the 5K should keep at least a 16-minute-mile pace so course support, aid stations and road closures stay in place for them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the course, and you're asked to clean up after them. You can add a race bib and treat for your dog at registration, and all bib proceeds go to Ruff Love Rescue.
Can I run with a rescue dog if I don't have one?
Yes. Ruff Love Rescue brings adoptable dogs you can run or walk with, first come, first served. Arrive early and visit the Ruff Love Rescue station.
Can I walk it, or bring a stroller?
Walkers are welcome, but keep at least a 16-minute-mile pace on the 5K or you may be asked to move to the sidewalk or a shorter route. Running strollers need wheels of at least 6 inches, and children riding in strollers don't need a bib.
Is there gear check and a water stop?
Yes. Your personal items are kept safe while you race, and you pick them up by showing your bib. The 5K water stop is at mile 1.5, at Research Parkway and Rams Drive.
Can I register on race day?
Yes, if the race hasn't sold out. Sign up on the website and visit the registration table.
