EmilyAnn Trail of Lights
Visitors stroll through approximately eight acres of festive lighted exhibits created by local businesses, organizations, and families. Most evenings include live stage entertainment, complimentary hot chocolate and marshmallows by the yule log, and visits with Santa Claus at his house. Concession stands offer dinner items and treats, while an entrance store provides light-up accessories and toys.

Know Before You Go
- Tickets: Admission is free. Donations are accepted and the suggested donation is $20 per family. Light-up accessories and toys cost $3-$20. Train tickets, concessions, and store purchases are available.
- Hours: Fridays/Saturdays 6-10pm; all other days 6-9pm, except December 20-23 open until 10pm. December 24-25: 6-9pm, walking trail only.
- Parking: Parking is very limited in the EmilyAnn lot; almost all Trail of Lights parking is at Wimberley High School and Danforth Middle School. People with a government-issued handicap permit or needing a closer drop-off may enter the EmilyAnn driveway; a volunteer directs them to handicap parking or lets them drop off passengers. After drop-off, vehicles must park at the high school or middle school. A lighted concrete walkway leads from the high school to the EmilyAnn grounds.
- Accessibility: Handicap parking is available on-site with a government-issued permit, and a lighted, concrete walkway connects the external parking lot at Wimberley High School to the grounds.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed on the EmilyAnn grounds. Service animals are permitted.
Tips & Advice
- Park at Wimberley High School or Danforth Middle School and follow the lighted concrete walkway over, because the EmilyAnn lot has very limited parking.
- Bring cash for the train, since cash works everywhere but card payments for train tickets must be made at the front store tent.
- Pick a dry night if you want a train ride, because the train cannot run in any rain and other services may be limited.
- Come hungry and have dinner on the trail, where the concession stand serves hot dogs, Frito pie, s'mores and hot cocoa.
- For a train ride, choose a Friday or Saturday night or come between December 15 and 23, when the train runs every night.

- "Journey to Bethlehem" show on December 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 and 21.

- December 24 and 25 are walking trail only: the lights are on but there are no other services.

Where do I park?
The EmilyAnn lot is very small, so almost everyone parks next door at Wimberley High School and Danforth Middle School. A lighted concrete walkway runs from the high school to the grounds.
Can I get dinner there?
Yes. The concession stand sells hot dogs (plain or chili/cheese), Frito pie, bottled water, s'mores, marshmallows, hot cocoa and more. Marshmallows and hot chocolate by the yule log are free.
What happens if it rains?
The trail usually stays open with the lights on in the rain. It closes if conditions get dangerous or heavy rain is forecast. Concessions, Santa and entertainment may be limited in light rain, and the train does not run in any rain.
Do they take cards?
Cash works everywhere, including the train, concessions and the store. Cards are accepted at concessions and the store. For train tickets or donations by card, go to the front store tent.
How can my family or business put up a display?
Email rebecca@emilyann.org. Putting up a display is free, and you don't need to stay with it during the Trail of Lights. Entertainers and sponsors can use the same address.
