  • Hours: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM CST; gates close at 10pm or until the last car in line comes through.
  • Parking: After the trail, visitors return to the parking area. For the drive-through, visitors can ask the gate attendant to park first and consolidate vehicles, then re-enter the drive-through line inside the park when exiting the parking area. For trailer rides, tell the entrance gate attendant and they will direct you into the parking lot.
  • Pets: Pets must stay in the vehicle while on the trail; visitors can park and enjoy activities at the end.

Tips & Advice

  • Buy tickets for the right night, because they are non-refundable and only good for one trip through the trail on that date.
  • Check your vehicle's size before you go, because anything over 12 ft tall, 8.5 ft wide or 30 ft long, or towing a trailer, is turned away.
  • If your group came in several cars, ask the gate attendant to let you park and consolidate before joining the drive-through line.
  • Use the portable toilets before starting the trail, because everyone has to stay in the vehicle for the whole drive.
  • Trailer riders should head to the Large Grain Bin Gift & Coffee Shop to check in, since trailers leave about every 25 minutes.

Special Events & Promotions

  • Trailer rides through the light trail are sold as separate tickets, including whole-trailer bookings for up to 29 people.
