Tips & Advice
- If you want a stall, send your application by Friday 16 October 2026, because organisers review every application before allocating pitches.
- Stallholders should bring their own table, gazebo and weights, because the standard pitch is just a 3m x 3m space.
- Bring battery-powered lighting and some festive decorations for your stall, since the area is lit but organisers advise adding your own lights.
- Dress warmly, because this is an evening event held outdoors on Manor Waste on the High Street in late November.
Quick Actions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is there to see and buy?
Stalls from local makers, retailers, charities and businesses sell Christmas gifts and crafts. There are food and drink stalls too. The evening includes Wendover's Christmas Light Switch On.
How do I get a stall?
Download the stall application form or the food stall application form. Send it to Phoebe Sharps, Estates and Event Manager at Wendover Parish Council, by Friday 16 October 2026. Applicants hear back by Monday 19 October 2026.
What do stallholders need to bring?
Standard pitches are 3m x 3m. Bring your own table, gazebo and weights. You also need current public liability insurance, the right certificates and a risk assessment. Stalls should be self-powered or use battery lighting where possible.
How does it work for food traders?
Food and catering traders don't pay a pitch fee. Instead, successful caterers donate 10% of the night's takings to the Parish Council's chosen charity. Include your menu, pitch size and power needs in your application. Hot takeaway food can't be sold from a standard stall.
Is the stall area lit?
The event area is lit, but stallholders should bring extra lighting. Festive decorations are very welcome.
