Tips & Advice
- Come ready to shop for holiday gifts: all 200 booths sell items handcrafted by the makers, and commercially manufactured goods aren't allowed.
- Crafters hoping to get in should join the waitlist with WAITING LIST written on both forms and no payment, because all spaces are already full.
- Crafters should bring their own rolling cart, because it's a long walk from the parking lot to the booths and student helpers are limited.
- Waitlisted crafters jurying electronically should send photos of both their finished products and the build process, because both are required to show the work is handmade.

What kind of items are for sale?
There are 200 booths of crafters. Everything is handmade by the crafter, their family or their business, and commercially manufactured items aren't allowed.
Where does the money go?
Elf Shelf is the main fundraiser for the Troy Women's Association. After costs, all proceeds from booth sales and admission go back to the community. That includes local civic and charitable groups, Troy schools projects, regional youth organizations, and scholarships for local high school students and adult women.
Can I still get a crafter booth?
All crafter spaces are full, but the waitlist is open. Fill out and sign the application and jury forms, write WAITING LIST at the top, don't include payment, and mail them in. Email your jury photos to ElfShelf_TWA@yahoo.com if you're jurying electronically.
Who runs Elf Shelf?
The Troy Women's Association, a 501(c)(3) group in Metro Detroit that supports about 35 community projects. The show has run for more than 50 years.
