Tips & Advice

  • Arrive with at least an hour of daylight left, because many of the tiny details and jokes in the scenes are hard to see after dark.
  • Do the spotter sheet and Crazy Golf in daylight, then walk round the village again once the illuminations are on.
  • Bring a card, because tickets are sold by card only at the gate and no bookings are taken.
  • Keep your admission receipt safe if you might use the free return visit, because lost receipts cannot be replaced.
  • If you want the illuminations before December 19, come on a weekend, because weekday visits until then show the Christmas scenes only.

Special Events & Promotions

  • Up to December 18, the illuminations run on weekends only. Weekday visits in that period show the Christmas scenes without illuminations.
  • From December 19, the Christmas scenes and illuminations run on every open day (closed Dec 25, 26 and Jan 1).
  • The same group gets one free return visit within 7 days. Ask for the voucher at admissions and keep your receipt.

Quick Actions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there something for children to do?

During the day, children can use the Christmas Character Spotter Sheet to find the miniature Santas and elves hidden around the village. Children who finish it get a small festive gift, suitable for ages 3 and up.

Do I need to book in advance?

No. They don't take bookings and you don't need one. Buy your tickets by card at the gate, and you'll get in as long as you arrive before last entry.

How long should we allow?

To see the village by day and after dark in one visit, allow about 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Arrive while there is still at least an hour of daylight, because the tiny details are harder to see once it's dark.

Can we come back another day?

Yes. The same group gets one free return visit within 7 days. Ask at admissions for the voucher and keep your admission receipt safe. When you come back, bring the receipt, the voucher and the card you paid with. Everyone has to return together, and the person who paid must be there.

Is there food on site?

Yes. The coffee shop serves refreshments and hot food such as paninis, pizzas and sausage rolls.
