Tips & Advice

  • Register early, because the price goes up in stages, and race-day registration only happens if the event hasn't reached maximum capacity.
  • Leave bags and valuables at home, because there's no bag check this year and you're advised not to leave valuables in your vehicle.
  • Bring warm donations like coats, blankets, gloves, socks or hand warmers for the Tacoma Rescue Mission drive running alongside the race.
  • Keep to the right on the gravel path unless you're passing, since runners, walkers, strollers and dogs all share the course.
  • If you're aiming to place, plan to stick around after you finish, because the top male, female and non-binary finishers need to be there for recognition and a photo.

Special Events & Promotions

  • A newly designed commemorative race bib is included with every entry.
  • A donation drive with Tacoma Rescue Mission collects blankets, coats, sleeping bags, gloves, warm hats, socks, hand warmers and travel toiletries.
  • Registration costs less the earlier you sign up, with prices rising in stages up to race day.
  • Skip the beanie for a cheaper registration.
