Stockholm Santa Run/Walk
Participants dress in Santa costumes to walk, jog, or run a one- or two-lap course through Gamla Stan and Slussen. Accompanied by Christmas songs, runners fill the streets with festive red attire to support charities aiding children and young people with disabilities. Every registered participant receives a commemorative medal, an event bag, and an emailed diploma showing the total funds raised.

- Bring as little as possible, since there is nowhere to leave bags or other belongings during the run.

- Take the blue metro line, a bus or the tram to Kungsträdgården, or walk there from Stockholm Central Station.

Do I have to run?
No. You can walk, power walk, jog or run, and choose one lap of the 3 km course or two laps for 6 km. The race isn't timed.
Where do I pick up my start kit and Santa suit?
Collect them at Jussi-Paviljongen in Kungsträdgården, next to the main stage, the day before the race. If you can't make it, you can pick them up on race morning. Someone else can collect for you if they bring your ticket.
Is there a changing room or bag storage?
No. There are no changing rooms, showers or bag storage. Arrive in the clothes you'll run in, with your Santa suit on or pulled over your outdoor clothing.
Can children take part?
All ages are welcome. Under-14s must be with a parent or guardian, and every child must be registered. Strollers and running strollers are welcome at no extra charge.
What do I get, and where does the money go?
Every participant gets a medal and a Stockholm Santa Run bag. You'll also get an emailed diploma showing the total raised and where it went. All proceeds go to Aktivisfonden and Hugo Stiftelse, which help children and young people with disabilities.
