Tips & Advice

  • Plan your visit for a Friday-to-Sunday weekend or December 18–24 if meeting Santa and hearing Mrs. Claus's stories matter to you.
  • Jack Frost keeps wandering the museum December 26–31 after Santa leaves, so the week after Christmas still has a holiday character to find.
  • Add Rooftop Access when you buy tickets if you want to see the rooftop lights, because General Admission doesn't include it automatically.
  • Dress for the weather if you plan to go outside to MonstroCity or the Rooftop, since outdoor access depends on conditions that day.
  • Eat at the Elfed-Up Café well before the museum closes, because it shuts an hour early each day.

Special Events & Promotions
