- Tickets: Adults: €8, including one hot drink (mulled wine, punch, or non-alcoholic punch). Children through age 5 enter free. Groups of 20 or more have group terms of 20+1, 40+2, etc.
- Parking: Paid parking is available directly at Schloss Hellbrunn; it may be heavily used on weekends and in the evenings. Other paid parking is available at Zoo Salzburg. A lit path through the palace park leads to the market. Coaches can drop off and pick up guests near the entrance, then use designated bus parking; further bus parking is at P&R Süd.
- Accessibility: Most of the market area is accessible step-free, though some paths consist of gravel or natural ground.
- Pets: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash throughout the visit. Owners should dispose of waste properly. There is no muzzle requirement; visitors are asked to use their judgment when it is very busy. A dog exercise area is available in the palace park.

- Take the bus if convenient; route 25 runs from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof to Schloss Hellbrunn, a short walk from the entrance.

- Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes because the market operates in all weather and some paths are gravel or natural ground.

- Reserve a table at the Schlossrestaurant on weekends if you plan to eat there; the Adventcafe in the Orangerie does not take reservations.
