Tips & Advice
- Bring only new, unwrapped items for the holiday drive, since the city cannot accept gifts that are used or wrapped.
- Choose from requested items such as children’s clothes and sneakers, teen clothing and shoes, duffel bags, portable electronics, hair brushes, or body lotion.
- Take donations to the Recreation & Events Window at Riverton City Hall, 12830 S Redwood Road, rather than leaving them elsewhere.
- Call non-emergency dispatch at 801-840-4000 to arrange an animal-shelter drop-off; most gently used items are accepted, but food must be unopened.
- Bring donations during the listed collection period, November 11–December 14, 2026, so they reach the drive while it is accepting items.
