- Parking: Parade participants park on streets or in lots east of Meridian. The old Cornforth Campbell lot has limited space.
Tips & Advice
- If you're in the parade, get to your assigned staging area by your group's arrival time. Group A stages first, then Group B, then Group C.
- Participants should hand out candy along the route instead of throwing it from vehicles. Throwing it risks hurting small children and could get you barred from future parades.
- Walking groups staging on West Main can meet away from the route, near Puyallup High or the Fairgrounds, and then arrive together.
- Units coming from the Sumner parade should take East Main Avenue, turn onto 5th Street SE, then Spring Street SE. Support vehicles park along Spring Street near the Meeker Mansion.
- Each parade unit takes about 20 minutes to travel the whole route, so plan for that time once you're on the move.
