Can kids meet Santa?
From the first Advent, Santa is on the estate every Saturday and Sunday and collects children's wish lists. You can print a wish list ahead of time. Leave your address or email so the wishes can be passed on to you.
What food and drink is there?
The horse-stable restaurant serves grilled food, wild-game burgers, pea soup, kale, flame-grilled salmon, potato pancakes and baked potatoes. There's bratwurst and punch at the pavilion, and cake, coffee and tea in the Kuhstall café. On Fridays and Saturdays the Tenne serves festive menus with roast goose and crème brûlée.
Can I buy a Christmas tree?
Yes. From December 5, on Saturdays and Sundays, you can pick your tree straight from the forester. While it's netted for the trip home, have a punch in the Torhaus horse stable.
How do groups get tickets?
Buy tickets in the online ticket shop, or register by email and collect them at the entrance ticket office. That option suits groups whose numbers may still change. Bus drivers and tour leaders get in free.
