What's the difference between the tour types?
Guided tours include live performances. They start with a party with a string quartet, punch and cookies, and end in a short ballet in the Lands of Afar. Self-guided tours have no performances. Candlelight tours are self-guided evening visits: the lights are dimmed, the rooms glow from the Christmas trees and you carry an electric candle.
Do I need a reservation?
You need one for guided tours, candlelight tours and Kids Free Days. Reservations are recommended for self-guided tours, especially on Saturdays and between Christmas and New Year's. Walk-ins only get in if there's space, and there are no walk-ins on Sundays. The Cupcake Café doesn't need a reservation.
What's there for kids on a self-guided tour?
