Tips & Advice
- Christmas show tickets sell fast, so buy in advance if you want the best seats in the house.
- Lineups differ every night, so sign up for artist email alerts for your show to hear when new performers are added.
- If your kids want to meet Santa, plan a separate trip to Christmas at Gaylord Opryland, because the show has no Santa meet and greet.
- Families or groups of 15 or more can book through the Opry's group ticketing options instead of buying seats one at a time.
- The Opry Shop stays open later on show days and stocks holiday ornaments, vinyl albums, mugs and pieces of the Opry stage for gifts.
Special Events & Promotions
- Guest stars vary by night: The Oak Ridge Boys and Maggie Rose on Dec 3, Ashley McBryde on Dec 13, and Jamey Johnson and Jon Pardi on Dec 20.
- Grand Celebration Package: your show ticket plus Premium Lounge access before the show, with drinks and Nashville bites, and a backstage tour right after.
- VIP Backstage Experience: a private backstage tour, an artist visit, lounge drinks, on-stage seats for the first half and a professional photo (21+, limited tickets).
- Opry House VIP Suites: box seats on the wings of the stage with in-seat food and drinks, a souvenir glass, a show poster and validated parking.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Opry Country Christmas OK for kids?
Yes. The shows suit fans of all ages, so it works well as a family night out.
Can my kids meet Santa at the show?
Santa makes a cameo during the show, but there's no meet and greet or photo with him. If you want to meet Santa, head to Christmas at Gaylord Opryland.
How is it different from a regular Opry show?
A regular Opry night has eight or more artists playing country hits. At Opry Country Christmas, a cast of performers and special guests sings only Christmas songs. You also get holiday photo ops and a visit from Santa.
Who's performing?
The lineup changes every night. John Foster, Chris Scruggs and the Stone Fox Five with Ben Scruggs, Riders In The Sky and Mandy Barnett play most shows, and each night has its own guests. More artists are still being added, and the full lineup goes up the week of the show.
Is there a dress code?
There's no formal dress code, but everyone is encouraged to wear their festive best.
