Frequently Asked Questions
Whose adaptation is this?
Lavina Jadhwani adapted Charles Dickens’ novella, and Addie Gorlin-Han directs, based on Joseph Haj’s original direction. It is a faithful adaptation with original music.
What's the safest way to buy tickets?
Buy directly from the Guthrie online, by phone or in person at the Box Office. The Guthrie can only verify tickets it issues, and tickets from other sellers may not qualify for refunds or replacements.
Are digital tickets available?
Yes. Choose digital tickets at checkout. You don't need an app, you can save them to Apple or Google Wallet, and each ticket has a QR code that's scanned when you arrive.
What if I can no longer make my performance?
There are no refunds. You can exchange or donate tickets through the Box Office until the afternoon of an evening show, or until midday for a matinee. Exchange fees may apply, and group tickets can't be exchanged once paid. If bad weather keeps you away, call the Box Office no later than the next day.
Is there a rush line?
When seats are left, a rush line opens at the Box Office window one hour before the show. Rush tickets are first-come, first-served. Members of the free Rush Club can buy two hours before without joining the public line.
