Tips & Advice
- Don't expect candy from the floats, since throwing objects is not allowed during the parade, to keep spectators safe.
- Float entrants must turn in proof of vehicle insurance by December 10, 2026, or their entry will not be allowed in the parade.
- Keep floats within 50 feet long including the tow vehicle, 20 feet wide and 12 feet tall, because of power and phone lines along the route.
- Plan on at least 4,000 lights and a power source for any towed float, and enclose and decorate the trailer with fabric or banners.
- Leave any Santa suit off your float, since the parade has only one Santa Claus, and the parade sponsors provide him.
