Frequently Asked Questions
Can I walk the half marathon instead of running it?
Yes. Lots of walkers join all three races. The half marathon has a four-hour course limit, so walkers need to hold an average pace of 18 minutes per mile.
Is there a race for little kids?
Yes. The Elves Trot is a quarter-mile fun run for children ages 3 to 6. It has its own small entry charge, and every elf who takes part gets a Santa medal.
What do I get after I finish?
Every Half Marathon, 10K and 5K finisher gets a finisher's medal, a free breakfast and a free mini-massage from the therapists at Precision in Movement. The top male and female finisher in each race wins a trophy. Division medals go to the top three men and women in each of 20 age divisions.
Will I get a race shirt?
Everyone who registers before November 1, 2026 gets a long-sleeved tech shirt. After that, shirts are handed out while supplies last, and your size may be gone if you sign up within three weeks of race day.
Is there a discount for groups?
Yes. You can create a team for family, friends or coworkers. Teams of 5 to 14 get a discount for each member, and teams of more than 15 get a bigger discount per person.
