Tips & Advice
- Come for the Downtown Lexington Holiday Parade, because this year it leads straight into the tree and menorah lighting in Triangle Park.
- Watch for Santa Claus in the parade, along with bands and floats, before heading to Triangle Park for the lighting.
- Organizations that want to march should submit the 2026 parade application, which is now open for groups.
- Dress warmly, because you'll spend a December evening outdoors downtown for both the parade and the lighting.
Special Events & Promotions
- New this year, the Downtown Lexington Holiday Parade and the Holiday Tree and Menorah Lighting Festival are combined into one evening, with the lighting right after the parade.
