The Christmas Eve celebration in Karpacz is a special time when the family should be together. It is a time when animals supposedly speak human language. Santa Claus brings presents to everyone, and we share the opłatek with our loved ones, wishing each other happiness. There is one empty place on the Christmas Eve table, and the house smells of Christmas trees with candies. Carp and barszcz, along with delicious pastries, are on our table, and we sing Christmas carols together.
