Teschen Market
The Teschenmarkt in Hoyerswerda is a traditional Christmas market held annually on the third weekend of Advent. It commemorates the work of Princess Ursula Katharina von Teschen in the 18th century and brings festive atmosphere around the market square in the old town. Visitors can write letters to Santa Claus and participate in various events, such as the Saxon Baroque ensemble and the fire show.

Ice Skating in Görlitz
Eislaufen in Görlitz offers three ice skating sessions per day, with children and youth aged 4 to 17 paying 3.50 € per session. Adults pay 6.00 € per session. Families can skate for 17.00 € per session, with each additional child costing 2.00 €. Ice skates can be rented for a deposit of 5.00 €.
