Tips & Advice
- Shop the online sale November 1–18 if you want a head start, and check back often because members may add new items during the sale.
- Still come in person, because not every member sells online and many more items will be on the tables at the auditorium.
- Plan to pick up homemade baked goods and canned goods along with your gifts, since members bake and can for the event every year.
- Come on Friday if you need more time, since the doors stay open longer on Friday than on Saturday.
- Don't send money to anyone on social media who offers vendor spaces, because Christmas Cottage never rents booths to outside sellers.
Special Events & Promotions
- Online early shopping runs November 1–18 with a selection of members' handmade items, baked goods and gifts.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I buy at Christmas Cottage?
F.C.E. club members sell handmade gifts, Christmas decorations, crafts, baked goods, canned goods and more, all made over the year.
Can I shop before the in-person weekend?
Yes. An online sale runs November 1–18 with a selection of items from participating members, and new items may be added along the way. Not every member sells online, so you'll find many more items in person.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is free.
Can I rent a booth or sell my crafts there?
No. Only members of the Madison County F.C.E. Clubs can sell, and there are no outside vendor or booth rentals. Anyone online offering vendor spaces for money is running a scam.
Where does the money go?
Sales support Madison County F.C.E.'s educational and community programs. They also help local organizations, including Madison County 4-H.
