Tips & Advice
- Stay until late afternoon so you're on Gostrey Meadow for the official switch-on of Farnham's Christmas lights.
- Bring the children early enough for the rides, face-painting and Santa's grotto before the crowd gathers for the lights.
- Dress warmly, because the afternoon is spent outdoors on Gostrey Meadow in November and gets colder as it gets dark.
- Use the gift stalls to start your Christmas shopping while you watch the performances from local schools and dance groups.
