What is the typical cost to play an escape room?
It costs an average of £20 per person to play. Hiring a whole game for just two people is more per person than a larger group game would be. Costs for each game can be seen when selecting the room in their Tickets section.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Once a booking is made, cancellations are generally not permitted as per their T's and C's. However, they may sometimes make amendments with sufficient notice, at their discretion. Their Portsmouth branch is trialing 'Flexible Booking' for amendments up to 6 hours before the event.
Are the games suitable for younger players or birthday parties?
Their games are built for teens upwards but are also enjoyed by younger players. For ages 8-13, an adult must accompany them (adult goes free with 5+ children). For players under 10, please call to discuss options. They also offer birthday party packages for ages 6+.
What if I haven't received my confirmation email or team photo?
Please check your spam folder first. If the email is not there, contact them at enquiries@excitingescapes.co.uk, and they will resend it.
How long does the entire experience take?
They suggest allowing 90 minutes in total: 10-15 minutes for the pre-game briefing, up to 60 minutes in the escape room experience, and 10-15 minutes at the end for a debrief and team photo.
