Know Before You Go
- Accessibility: The ice rink is fully ADA accessible, and wheelchairs can reach the ice through the resurfacing doors.
Tips & Advice
- Bring a credit or debit card to the skate rental kiosk on Cleveland Foundation Centennial Plaza, because rink tickets are card-only with no cash sales.
- Arrive well before closing, since rink ticket sales stop 30 minutes before close and every skater must leave the ice right at closing time.
- Look at the rink's Facebook, X or Instagram before heading downtown, because it closes for weather, ice conditions or skater safety.
- Plan for kids to skate without help from skate aids, which aren't available, although there are no age or height limits on the ice.
- If your skate size runs out at the kiosk, enjoy the rest of Public Square while you wait, because staff will tell you when skates come back.
Special Events & Promotions
- WinterLand Kickoff takes over Public Square on November 28.
- 10-pack skating tickets with skate rental are sold, as long as one person buys them all at one time.
- The rink opens on Christmas Day and has shortened hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
