A Christmas Carol: A Musical Retelling
Opera Holland Park principals present a semi-staged musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic ghost story directed by Martin Duncan. Scored for eight singers, an actor, and an instrumental trio of piano, double bass, and accordion, the performance weaves Victorian carols and handbell chimes through the score. Audiences follow Ebenezer Scrooge as he encounters the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future on his journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas.
