  • Remember to turn in your finished scavenger hunt passport, since that is what enters your child in the drawing for the dream gift basket.
  • Dress the family in ugly Christmas sweaters, silly pajamas or Whoville hairdos, because everyone is encouraged to join in on the dress-up fun.
  • Save some gift shopping for Christmas Market Days on Main Plaza, where admission is free and the booths sell everything from collectibles to modern gadgets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should we wear?

Everyone is encouraged to show up in ugly Christmas sweaters, silly Christmas pajamas and Whoville hairdos.

How does the Cookie Crawl work?

Each ticket gets your child a Christmas cookie at about a dozen participating downtown stores, plus a commemorative bag to carry them in. After you buy, you'll get instructions on where and when to pick up the passport of participating businesses and the bag. All ticket money goes to funding the Christmas events.

How does the Santa Scavenger Hunt work?

It's free. On the morning of the hunt, pick up a passport at one of the participating businesses, then search for Santa at each shop along the Hill Country Mile. Drop off your finished passport to be entered in a drawing for a child's dream gift basket. The drop-off spot will be announced.

Where can we see the ice sculpture?

On Saturday the Iceman carves an ice sculpture at The Shoppes at 222 on S. Main Street. You can watch him carve it or come by later in the afternoon to see the finished piece.

Can I sell at the Christmas Market?

Yes. Christmas Market Days on Main Plaza take vendors, and you sign up through Boerne Market Days.
