Know Before You Go

  • Parking: Parking is free with every Biltmore ticket.

Tips & Advice

  • Book at least seven days ahead to get the date and Biltmore House entry time you want, plus the best ticket price, because dates can sell out.
  • Buy your Biltmore House admission online before you go, because it guarantees entry on your chosen date and costs less than buying later.
  • Get to the estate early on your visit day so you have time for the gardens, grounds, shops and restaurants before your house entry time.
  • To change a Candlelight Christmas Evenings ticket, call before your original date, because after that it can only be rebooked as a daytime ticket.
  • Use the free next-day grounds access that comes with Candlelight tickets to come back in daylight for Antler Hill Village, the Winery and the gardens.

Special Events & Promotions

  • Candlelight Christmas Evenings: candlelit evening visits to Biltmore House, sold as a separate ticket that includes free next-day grounds access.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes with every Biltmore ticket?

Every ticket includes Antler Hill Village and the Winery, 8,000 acres of gardens and grounds, a complimentary wine tasting, complimentary parking and visit date flexibility.

Do I need a reservation to go inside Biltmore House?

Yes. Every guest entering Biltmore House needs a reservation, and you pick your entry time when you buy your ticket. If you arrive without one, entry isn't guaranteed. If you're late for your time, staff will try to fit you in but may not be able to.

What are Candlelight Christmas Evenings?

These are evening visits to Biltmore House that take you back to 1895, the first Christmas in the house. The rooms are lit by candles, with the scent of fresh pine and crackling fireplaces. They need a Candlelight ticket, which includes an audio guide and free grounds access the next day.

Can I come to the estate before my house entry time?

Yes. You're encouraged to arrive early on your visit day and explore the gardens, grounds, shops and restaurants before your Biltmore House entry time.

What if I can't make my booked date?

Tickets aren't refundable, but you can rebook. Call at least 48 hours before your visit with your ticket ID and credit card. A Candlelight Christmas Evenings ticket keeps its evening status only if you rebook before your original date. You can also give your tickets to friends or family for your original date.
