When are the gardens open?
Open daily at 9:00 AM, seven days a week. Last entry varies seasonally, with closing times ranging from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. They are closed on winter holidays and in icy conditions.
How much does it cost to get into the gardens?
There is no fee for entry, as Untermyer Park and Gardens is part of the City of Yonkers Public Parks system.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are not allowed, with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA. Comfort or emotional support dogs are not permitted.
Is there a place to eat in the gardens?
There are a limited number of picnic tables available, but no place to purchase food or beverages. A water fountain is located inside the Walled Garden (turned off in winter).
How can I get a permit for photography?
Permits for special occasion photography are handled by the Yonkers Parks Department at (914) 377-6450. They cannot be obtained through the Conservancy.
