Parking

Parking is free and is available around the hotel and depot complex. There is a parking lot east of Grand Canyon Blvd. as you enter the Railway’s complex as well as parking west of the hotel. Budget a few minutes extra to find parking as there will be as many as 3,000 people on property.

Accessibility

Due to the age of the equipment, not all rail cars are ADA accessible. Please contact Central Reservations at least 7 days prior to arrival for arrangements.

No pets allowed on the train (service animals welcome)

Food & Drink

Hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies are served on board. Dinner and breakfast are available as part of package deals at the Fred Harvey Restaurant.

Where do we pick up our tickets?

If you booked a package, tickets are received at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel front desk. For train-only tickets, pick them up at the ticket counter inside the Grand Canyon Railway Depot.

How far in advance should we arrive before departure?

Train-only guests should arrive at least one hour before departure. Package guests can check in at the hotel starting at 3:00 p.m.

What can we bring on the train?

You can bring coats, diaper bags, camera bags, and backpacks. Strollers can be parked outside the depot. Bringing your own copy of 'The Polar Express' book is encouraged.

What are the seating arrangements?

Seats are bench-style, with two passengers per bench. Booking seats in even numbers is recommended. They do their best to honor seating requests for families traveling together on separate reservations.
