Illumination of a prominent tree with 100,000 festive lights.

Description:

The lighting of the tree in Aristotle's Square is a festive event featuring the illumination of a 17-meter tall tree in Aristotle's Square. The tree was transported from Paleo Chori, Chalkidiki, and decorated with 100,000 low-energy festive lights. The event will be accompanied by a unique concert by Giannis Ploutarchos, featuring his children Giorgos Kakosaios and Katerina Kakosaiou, as well as a guest appearance by Dimitris Chryschohoïdis. The Masoutis company supports the festive events of the Municipality of Thessaloniki with the support of the local radio station PALMOS 96.5.

Description:

The Christmas Market in Thessaloniki is a festive event offering a sweet and festive atmosphere. On Aristotelous Street, above Egnatia, 39 wooden huts will house commercial businesses and 4 huts for associations and NGOs. Traditional Christmas treats, items, and products, gift items, dried fruits, doughnuts, hot beverages, toys, and street food will be available.
