Exbury boasts a very large car and coach park which is free to visitors. During our busiest times, car park attendants will direct traffic into the site or an overflow car park across the road from the main entrance. Bays for blue badge holders are clearly marked at the front of the car park, closest to the Visitor Entrance.

No, visitors are welcome to pay on arrival at the Visitor Entrance, or pre-book their tickets online. A 10% discount is offered for pre-booked online tickets, but there is no limit on visitor numbers. Payment is by card only as it is a cash-free site.
Is car parking free of charge?
Yes, there is an extensive car park for approximately 250 vehicles and a parking area for around 50 coaches. During busy times, attendants will direct traffic or to an overflow car park. Blue badge holder bays are clearly marked at the front of the car park.
Am I allowed to bring dogs into the gardens?
Yes, dogs are very welcome at Exbury Gardens, including on the steam train and in Mr Eddy’s restaurant. They simply ask that they are kept on a short lead.
In the case of extreme weather, will the gardens be closed?
The gardens may occasionally be closed in the event of extreme weather conditions such as high winds or snow and ice. The website and social media channels will be kept up-to-date. If in doubt, contact them on 02380 891203.
Is there a discount for large groups?
Yes, groups of 15 or more can enjoy a discounted rate for both garden admission and steam railway rides. Groups must pre-book to receive this discount.
