Limited visitor parking is located on the main museum site. There is also an overflow car park located adjacent to Kelham Island Brewery and the Fat Cat pub on Alma Street. Parking is free for the first hour and then charged at £1.50 per hour thereafter. Limited free parking for blue badge holders is available behind the Bessemer Converter. Visitor car parking is not available on major event days, including the Victorian Christmas Market.
