Tips & Advice

  • Purchase tickets online in advance, especially for popular weekend nights, as they often sell out quickly. Consider visiting on a weekday for a potentially less crowded experience.
  • Arrive early to secure a parking spot, as free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If lots are full, street parking in Roger Williams Park is an alternative.
  • Dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes, as you'll be exploring the zoo grounds for an extended period, and the weather can be chilly.
  • Check the zoo's website for any special member discounts or group rates before purchasing tickets to potentially save money.
  • Plan to spend at least 1 to 1.5 hours to fully enjoy the light displays. Consider purchasing food and drinks on-site to enhance the festive atmosphere.
