The center of activities is concentrated around SNP Square, where visitors will find a traditional Christmas market with wooden stalls. From there, you can walk to the city hall featuring a Christmas nativity scene, and continue along illuminated streets to the square in front of the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. Around the city, particularly at Považský Castle and in nearby villages, additional festive events take place.
