The Gamble House and Bookstore are open Tuesdays, and Thursdays through Sundays. They are closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tours of The Gamble House are guided, with the exception of occasional self-guided touring days that are listed under Events. Tour times vary; please check tour availability. Advance ticketing is recommended. Walk-up tickets are sold in the Bookstore based on availability. The Bookstore is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on touring days. Visitors are welcome to explore the exterior of the house and gardens at their leisure.

Parking
Free parking is available on Westmoreland Place in labeled spaces, directly in front of the house. Additional parking is available on Orange Grove Boulevard and West Walnut Street. On weekends, they may park in adjacent spaces designated for Westmoreland Academy. Please do not park in the parking lots to the north or south of The Gamble House or on Arroyo Terrace. Please read street signs for any parking restrictions.
Accessibility
The Gamble House welcomes guests with special accessibility needs. Please contact their Tour and Education Manager at (626) 793-7419 or email jenniferm@gamblehouse.org prior to the day of your visit so that they can accommodate you as fully as possible. Persons providing direct assistance to paying guests with accessibility needs will not be charged admission. There is limited first-floor access with the use of a wheelchair (manual only) stair lift device operated by Gamble House staff. Please note, the lift device cannot accommodate all manual wheelchairs. They are not able to accommodate electric wheelchairs. Please contact them in advance of your visit so that they can accommodate you as fully as possible. For safety reasons, the lift cannot be used in damp or rainy weather. Walkers with rubber bottoms are permitted. All walkers will be inspected to ensure they do not pose a potential hazard to the historic rugs and floors. Please note: The front entrance of The Gamble House requires the use of stairs. The second floor is accessible via a flight of 18 stairs. The attic is accessible via a flight of 17 stairs. Typed tour scripts, in English, with detailed descriptions are available upon request. Large print and braille materials, as well as tactile objects are available. Please ask for these materials when you check in for your tour. Certified service dogs or ponies are permitted on tours. If a guest who is blind or has low vision wishes to bring someone to assist them on the tour, the person providing assistance will not be charged admission. With advance notice, they are pleased to assemble a touring kit with tactile objects and visual aids. Typed tour scripts in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), and Italian are available upon request.
