Parking
Parking is available in designated parking areas on the property. There is NO additional charge for parking to pre-paid tour or event ticket holders. For those who only wish to explore the estate and not take a tour, please purchase a Daily Grounds Pass.
Accessibility
Theater takes place on the second floor. The group walks up to the Mansion from the Welcome Center prior to the show and walks up one large flight of stairs. Check-in is at the Welcome Center, where there are restrooms. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
Pet Policy
Leashed pets are welcome on Lyndhurst’s grounds; please pick-up waste. Service animals are allowed inside public buildings as defined by ADA.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is Lyndhurst open?
Lyndhurst is open seasonally from April through December, seven days a week from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm for grounds visitation. Tours are offered seasonally, and the mansion is closed for the first three weeks in November for seasonal preparations.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, leashed pets are welcome on Lyndhurst’s grounds; please clean up after them. Service animals are allowed inside public buildings as defined by ADA.
Can I take photos?
Casual outdoor photography is allowed. Drones are strictly prohibited. Indoor non-professional photography is allowed at your tour guide’s discretion, but not during special events or theater performances. Special Event photography is not allowed.
Is picnicking allowed?
Yes, picnicking is allowed, but please carry out what you carry in. Open flames or barbeque grills are not permitted on the grounds, and alcohol is not permitted on the property.
