- The city of Oyonnax prepares to shine with a thousand lights as Christmas approaches The illuminations make our city sparkle and create a warm and enchanting atmosphere. The Mayor of Oyonnax will be present to start this lighting ceremony. From 17h, the public will gather around the majestic Christmas tree in front of the town hall, entranced by the captivating rhythms of violinist Dimitri Samarov. At 17h30, the Mayor will launch the city's illuminations by pressing a button. Santa Claus will then guide visitors to the Grenette, where children and adults exchange warm wine or apple juice in a musical atmosphere.
