Atlanta Christkindl Market
First launched in 2016, the Atlanta Christkindl Market has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated holiday traditions, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors each season. What began nearly a decade ago with a handful of charming wooden booths has blossomed into a full-scale European-style market, complete with handcrafted gifts, authentic German foods, festive entertainment, and, of course, steaming mugs of traditional Glühwein. Each year, the German American Cultural Foundation of Atlanta organizes contractors, vendors and volunteers to share the centuries old tradition of the classic German Christmas Market with the city of Atlanta.
