Description:
The "Kolenta Babo" is a traditional custom in Korisos, where children light the large fire of the "Kolenta" and shout "Kolenta Babo Kolenta." The "Kolenta" has a conical shape and consists of a large tree trunk without its branches, called Babo. During the night, the Local Community of Korisos and the Cultural and Educational Association of Korisos “Saint Dionysius” sing traditional carols and distribute gifts to the neighborhoods that honor the traditional custom.
