The Church of St. Archangel Michael is located in the center of Kaunas, on the Independence Square near Liberty Avenue. Built in 1893, it is Neobyzantine. The church has five domes: a central large one and four smaller ones (each with 12 bells). The interior was decorated by artists from St. Petersburg.
