The St. Archangel Michael Church is located in the center of Kaunas, on Independence Square near Liberty Avenue. Built in 1893, it is a Neo-Byzantine structure. The church features five domes: a central large one and four smaller ones (each with 12 bells). The interior was decorated by artists from St. Petersburg.
