Salamanca's Christmas lights are a tradition that starts on December 5th and lasts until January 6th. The city is adorned with over 800 decorations spread across more than 100 streets and squares. An inaugural event in Patio Chico features the Coral Polifónica, the Juvenile Choir of Salamanca, the Children's Choir of the Municipal School of Music and Dance, and the Children's Choir of Salamanca. The 13-meter-tall bell tower in Plaza Mayor offers a seven-minute light and sound show.
