The museum and temporary exhibitions are accessible to people with reduced mobility, with the exception of the Chapel of the Magi, which is partially accessible. A ramp allows access for wheelchairs up to 70 cm wide and weighing up to 250kg. A wheelchair is available at the Infopoint upon request. The entrance for people with reduced mobility is from Via Ginori, 2.

No pets allowed, except for guide dogs for the blind, service dogs, and pets certified for therapeutic support (pet therapy) with documentation from public health facilities.

Quick Actions

Tips & Advice

  • Book tickets in advance, especially for popular activities like 'Dances at Court' and the torchlit tours, as availability is limited.
  • Check the specific times for each activity, as they vary and some events have multiple showings on the same day.
  • Consider visiting on a weekday to potentially avoid larger crowds, especially if you prefer a more intimate experience.
  • Wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be exploring a historic palace with various rooms and potentially walking between activities.
  • Arrive a little early for your booked activity to allow time for entry and to find your way within the palace.
