The Battle of Flowers is a parade of floats covered entirely in natural flowers, which parade before a crowd in awe. Each float can carry between 150,000 and 180,000 flowers, each one hand-clipped just hours before the parade. During the parade, the public and participants engage in a friendly contest with confetti while the jury deliberates on the awards for the different allegories.
