Can you go inside the castle?
The Castle is still a private family home and is only accessible with a seasonal guided tour. Prebooking is required.
What does my ticket include?
The general admission ticket includes access to; 120 acres of Parklands & Gardens, 7-Gallery Science Centre, Playground, Great Leviathan Telescope, iLOFAR, 5000 species of Plants & Trees and 10km of Walking Trails.
Is there on-site parking?
We do not have on-site parking here. We rely on the public car park beside the Marian Hall or alternatively have road parking outside the Demesne’s walls.
Can you walk dogs there?
Dogs are most welcome in the Demesne. They must stay on a short leash by their owner and is not permitted in the Science Centre or the Playground. There are dog poop bags available at reception to clean up after your dog.
Is there a playground?
We do have a playground that consists of a swing & slide area and a junior area for smaller children. Ireland's Tallest Treehouse is currently closed as it undergoes maintenance and additional upgraded design detail.
