The Farm Park is open from March to October, 10 am to 5 pm, and from October to February, 10 am to 4 pm. The Village is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm (Winter) and 10 am to 5 pm (Summer). Sundays, 10 am to 4 pm. Tiptree Tea Room and Tiptree Pantry are open daily from 9:30 am to 4 pm (Winter) and 9 am to 5 pm (Summer). The Magic Mushroom is open Wednesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 11 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. Camping is open year-round. The Farm Shop is open every day (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day) from 6 am to 5:30 pm.

They offer a large, free all-weather car park for cars and coaches, with designated disabled spaces.
Accessibility
The Farm Park is on one level with benches positioned throughout and the majority of paths are concrete or tarmac making 85% of the Farm Park easily accessible. All areas are on ground level apart from Nocturnal and Exotics House which has two levels. There is a wheelchair/pushchair accessible lift to gain entry to the upper floor. Non motorised wheelchairs are available for your use from the Farm Park. Guide/assistance dogs are welcome at Barleylands but Emotional Support Dogs are not permitted. Within the Farm Park we two disabled toilets please see our accessibility map for their location. We also have a Changing Places facility within the Farm Park and are working on another within our Craft Village to be installed in 2024. Our Tractor and Trailer ride has an accessibility ramp that a Wheelchair can be put on and lifted up. Please note, only two wheelchairs per ride are permitted due to the fire risk. The other tractor is accessible to those who can climb two steps with assistance. Automatic doors are in use around the farm, including reception. The reception area is open plan to aid lip reading and visitors with visual impairments. Both the Farm Park map and activity sheet are available in large print when requested in advance. Carers are welcomed into the Farm Park for a reduced cost, this must be purchased from our kiosk using an ID card such as a DID card. The wonderful studios in our Village are set out over two levels with lift access either side of the Village, making all shops wheelchair/pushchair accessible. Wide corridors and doorways throughout make for an enjoyable shopping experience. There are four disabled toilets situated within the Village, including one within the Tiptree Tea Rooms. The Tea Rooms cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements.
