The Nikolausumzug in Beckum is a traditional Christmas procession organized by the Heimat- & Geschichtsverein since 1946. The procession starts at 17:00 from Hindenburgplatz and leads through various streets to the stage of the Christmas market, where the Nikolaus and the angels are musically accompanied. Over 700 chocolate Nikoläuse are distributed to the children present.
